At the NK BCDE last Sunday, 2 young talents from Limburg, both with an E-license, managed to win the combined class Ladies D&E. All, mostly older opponents, were tied to the chariot of victory. In an exciting final, Joes Slakhorst (Quick ’72/Schimmert) managed to beat Juul Ploemen (Ttv Sittard) with 12-10 in the 5th game. With this, Joes was crowned DUTCH CHAMPION.
Wiel Schers took care of the award ceremony and complimented the winners on this achievement and the game they showed.
Congratulations to both ladies.
Boyd Huijs managed to take 3rd place in the Men D on Saturday. Joris van Eekeren, chairman of the fan club, proudly presented him with the prizes. Congratulations.
With this result he qualified for the NK C-licenses on Sunday. The festivities on Saturday evening probably prevented a leading role on Sunday. The prizes were a bridge too far here.
